The Stewarts Creek Robotics Team has joined many other schools this year to make a robot that can advance farming techniques of the past. This year's challenge is based upon a small, family farm—BLT Farms Inc.—wanting to expand their farming techniques and technologies. The Stewarts Creek Robotics Team has therefore created a subsidiary of the team—SC Technologies. The goal of SC Technologies is to increase the profits of BLT Farms Inc. and improve their planting and harvesting techniques using innovation. SC Technologies: Combining family values of the past with technologies of the future. We hope that you will come support us on game day October 29th at Lipscomb University from 8:00 am-5:00 pm!
Why is family farming important?
Family farming is important because family farming provides local foods to the community and if famous enough other places too. This allows the family and near civilians to save money and reduces activity in industrial farms. They are better for the environment for many reasons such as less chemicals in their plants and soil.
